The spoilers for One Piece chapter 1120 have finally hit the internet, and while some fans are excited about the upcoming chapter, others have expressed disappointment in Eiichiro Oda. When Vegapunk was stabbed by Admiral Kizaru in Chapter 1109, he intended to reveal the truth about the many secrets to the entire world before dying. These secrets included the Will of D, the One Piece treasure, the Ancient Kingdom, Joy Boy, and the biggest secret of all: the One Piece world sinking into the sea.

Fans initially believed that they would finally get to learn more about the mysteries and secrets that Oda has hidden within the One Piece narrative for so long. And, although there have been some decent revelations, they have been dragged for far too long to maintain the excitement among the One Piece fans.

Dr. Vegapunk’s Message in One Piece Chapter 1120

One Piece Chapter 1120, which is scheduled for release on July 14, 2024, has been long-awaited by fans, as Oda went on a one-week hiatus after the release of chapter 1119 on July 1, 2024. While the fans were waiting for the chapter to be released, the spoilers of the chapter were shared on X by the prominent One Piece fan page, @pewpiece.

Although the spoilers made some interesting revelations about characters like Clover, Emeth (the iron giant), the Five Elders, and Atlas, they did not give much information about Vegapunk’s broadcast, which has been going on for more than seven chapters. The message just repeated the things that were already known to One Piece fans.

According to the spoilers, the manga chapter shifted to Vegapunk’s message in the last panel, and the only thing it revealed was that Gol D. Roger and his crew were the only people who knew the true history of the One Piece world. This information was already revealed in One Piece, Chapter 1116.

Fans Are Not Happy With Eiichiro Oda

Repeating the same point and dragging Vegapunk’s broadcast is not good for the series, as it will only increase the number of episodes for the One Piece anime. This results in fans losing interest in the narrative, which is not good for Eiichiro Oda and One Piece. A similar thing happened with the Dressrosa arc.

Fans believed that Oda dragged Luffy’s fight with Doflamingo for far too long, but it was compensated by Luffy’s new move that shook the fandom.

However, this may not be the case with the Egghead arc, as fans expressed their disappointment with Oda and Vegapunk’s message.

While Vegapunk’s message seems repetitive, fans should know that it is the first time that the people of the One Piece world find out about Gol D. Roger having a D in his name. Not only that, Oda’s health concerns and his breaks have also resulted in the delay of the mangaka working on the conclusion of Egghead. Thus, fans need to be patient and let Oda complete this arc as he planned.
