Fans of Helldivers 2 remain passionate about the game and that is clear in regards to comments about the newest weapon. The MLS-4X Commando quad missile launcher is perhaps no surprise to some after it was accidentally in a PlayStation newsletter last month, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t being well received.
The weapon which was uncovered during the excavation of an Advanced Weapons Lab on X-45 will be utilized in the defense of the planet until the end of the current order. With the Automatons advancing, this new weapon may prove pivotal in the defense of X-45 and keeping it under Super Earth control.
Helldivers 2 Fans Are Just Waiting for the Bad News
Whilst it appears that Helldivers 2 fans are just waiting for the new Commando weapon to be nerfed, one fan took to the game’s subreddit to offer a suggestion to the devs. This understandably led to a raft of comments of why the weapon should not be interfered with.

This led to further comments on the post, querying why the Commando weapon would be nerfed. However, it remains to be seen whether the compromise offered in this thread will be taken on board by the devs.
With the majority of live-service games, fans will always have to endure balance updates with the firepower of some weapons being addressed. It appears that this will be no different and that the MLS-4X Commando quad missile launcher will be the latest weapon subject to these changes.
Helldivers 2 Still Has Ongoing Complaints
Whilst there has been a drop in player numbers since the game first launched, there are still a substantial number who still enjoy Helldivers 2. However, as with most live-service games, there are some players who seem to be experiencing a common complaint.
In addition to this, there is the ongoing complaint from PC players who have voiced their frustration about the performance issues such as frequent crashes, stuttering gameplay, and frame rate drops. These have been addressed on Discord and assurances have been given that the devs are currently looking at solutions to the various issues.
It’s clear that the Helldivers 2 community is passionate about what it wants for the game and this is evident by the comments on Reddit. Despite the PSN controversy and the decrease in player numbers, it does remain one of the most popular games of the year and it will be interesting to see if Arrowhead can maintain its popularity.
