One of the most annoying features is the landing animation which takes a long time and sometimes contributes to the player’s loss. However, players have been finding many ways to avoid this animation completely. Reddit user, BitchWTFwe, found one of the ways. The user simply started firing their gun and the landing animation got skipped.

However, to many Helldivers 2 players, this trick might seem familiar. They also use the same trick but instead of shooting their gun, they use an emote to avoid taking fall damage.

All the frustration from the players shows that this animation is simply a hindrance. The animation doesn’t provide any type of realism as there is no fall damage in the game to begin with.

Nexon has a long list of things they need to work on. First, it will have to show some commitment and dedication towards the game, otherwise, players will simply move on if the content is not good or repetitive.

A similar thing happened to Helldivers 2 due to its various controversies. The first step for Nexon should be to fix the various bugs and then balance the characters (Bunny is just too good).

After that it will need to listen to all the player feedback and bring changes accordingly, showing the community that the developers care about their experience. In the end, players always find their own ways to bring engagement in hopes that developers will fix the issues soon.
