Arrowhead Game Studios struck gold with the live service structure and the gaming community quickly fell in love with the gameplay and mechanics. However, live service games are prone to bugs and glitches, but some can save the genre altoghether. Players discovered that emoting while flying through the air can decrease fall damage in Helldivers 2.

Emoting in the air for self-preservation is a funny idea. Players went above and beyond with one concept that is good for mobility and will likely increase entertainment. The game is set in a world of science fiction, which makes sense for players to fly or at least glide through the air.

Gliding the air with a jetpack will give the community more options for approaching a combat encounter. Air superiority can make a difference in a fight and save lives with quick thinking while falling out of the sky.

Arrowhead Game Studios should take this idea into consideration as soon as possible. Jetpacks can save lives and assert dominance in the field, giving the players more reason to dive back in for more action and get creative by exploring different uses for the pack.

The power of flight is appealing to the community, and this could give the players more options for traversal and better mobility. Perhaps the developers could apply this suggestion to level out the playing field.

It’s Time for Arrowhead Game Studios to Think Outside the Box for Helldivers 2

This is war and the players will need every advantage to gain the upper hand so might as well go for the high ground. Hovering above enemies will distract them long enough for allies to flank them and for players to rain hellfire from the sky.

These jetpacks could also flex in a match and can be conveniently hidden once a player reaches the ground. Paratroopers mean business and will stop at nothing to eliminate any hostile forces.

Arrowhead Game Studios should at least consider this idea and is well aware that creativity is essential for a live-service game. The gaming community is doing its part to share great suggestions to improve the game.

Jetpacks fit the lore of the game’s universe and it feels like there is only a matter of time before the developers begin implementing fan ideas. There is a small window of opportunity, and it won’t last forever.
