The First Descendant, developed by Nexon, has garnered an incredible number of players and a much larger community than expected. Thethird-person action title features mechanics similar to those in Destiny 2, with all kinds of abilities for characters.
The studio has just confirmed that it has surpassed 10 million players. Some players think the studio should fix some game elements that aren’t balanced or work well. One of these complaints is the presence of hackers in the game.

As impressive as it may seem, Nexon has just officially announced that The First Descendant has surpassed 10 million players since its release on June 30th. The game features third-person gameplay with different character classes and abilities, combining elements from Warframe and Destiny 2.
Despite positive reviews, the game did not seem to capture as much popularity as it has. Even after this favorable news for the studio, not everything is positive, and many players are complaining about various issues they have encountered in the game.

We've reached 10 million Descendants in just 7 days!
Thank you all for your tremendous support and love. It means everything to us.
We will do our best to bring you great experiences. Can't wait to continue this journey together! pic.twitter.com/SsvcelMTsh
The community is divided in the performance of the game.
Doesn't mean that's how many you have online live at one time. That's how many accounts created including hackers. Already their are hackers in that game.

The players want that the studio needs to fix things.
Okay so according to my calculations. The total time farming divided by the average of 2 minutes per mission. It took 170 missions to get HP Collector to drop.

That is gonna make a lot of people just quit the game. I would put in a bad luck protection.
When the company decided to post about the 10 million players on social media platforms like X, the comments quickly poured in, criticizing the different problems with the title. Users complained about everything from hackers to poor performance with FPS drops.
Nexon Should Pay Attention to These Complaints and Start Addressing the Issues

Players took the opportunity to voice their complaints and comment on various issues they encountered in The First Descendant. One user, for instance, expressed that the game was rife with hackers and that they had already encountered several of them.
This could potentially impact the number of players the studio claims to have. Another user commented that some missions are too difficult, and the loot is not worth it, suggesting that the studio should consider adjusting this. The complaints continued, with other users even describing how the frame rates are not stable and do not allow for a solid gaming experience.
These kinds of complaints do not reflect well on the studio or the game itself, but still, it is a fantastic achievement to reach 10 million players in just a few days. We will see if the community remains interested in this game in the future, despite all the problems it is currently facing.
Initially, one of the community’s main complaints was that The First Descendant was full of overpriced microtransactions that did not make sense at those prices. Nevertheless, the game continues to have numerous active players every day, and the numbers could keep growing.
