Mods have been a cornerstone when it comes to keeping the players happy in the game’s community, and from the looks of it, they might just come in handy again with demand for a much-needed accessibility feature rising ranks on Starfield’s social media forums.

Noticed first on the game’s official Reddit community, a user posted expressing how he felt surprised there is no toggle to switch perspectives between the two soldiers, which would have proved to be useful when engaging in combat in combat during 3rd person mode.

Adding to the post, another user commented how achieving such a mod for players would not be entirely impossible, as camera positioning mods have already existed for a long time when it comes to games like Skyrim, and despite being a little tough, is a task that current modders should be able to do.

While it remains a challenging task to accomplish, a mod to switch shoulder views while using the 3rd person mode will be appreciated by many in the player base, proving once again how the studio has left nearly all the heavy-lifting tasks to be done by the users themselves.

Considering the studio is responsible for many loved franchises such as Elder Scrolls and the Fallout video game series, it is easy to say how Starfield remains towards the lower of the list when it comes to games made by Bethesda.

Luckily, being a recent release, there is more to come from the creators of the game, as they gear up for the release of the game’s Shattered Space DLC, an expansion that was teased even before the release of the main game.

While there is no confirmed date for the said DLC, it might be sooner than later that fans get their hands on it, bearing in mind that the launch is definitely scheduled to be executed before the end of this year.
