Well, when it comes to the characters on the world-famous show, The Boys, each one has their own distinct qualities that make them both loved and loathed. But there’s one in particular who stands out in the hate department, and that is none other than Stormfront.

The character’s supposed offscreen demise stirred up a storm among viewers, who have apparently long been waiting for a front-row seat to her death. Now, rumors are swirling about the possibility of the show reviving Stormfront to ensure she gets a fitting and satisfying exit.

This Supe Could Return in Season 5 of The Boys For An Even more Spectacular Exit!!

Rumors have it that despite the supposed offscreen demise, Stormfront is apparently still kicking it. In an interview with TVLine in 2020, showrunner Eric Kripke spilled the beans on what he actually envisions about this particular character’s death, leading many to believe that there’s a strong chance she’ll make a comeback in the fifth and final season of the Amazon series for a spectacular send-off. He revealed,

No, she’s not dead! She’s Stumpfront! She’s a stumpy little Nazi. She’s actually not dead. What we thought was interesting is, if you remember, she ages very, very slowly. So the best poetic ending for that character is someone who so believed in some kind of pure race finds herself mutilated and having to live with it for potentially centuries felt like a fate worse than death for her. So no, Stumpfront is not dead. Hashtag Stumpfront lives!

Everybody knows that in The Boys, Stormfront meets her end in a rather “bleh” way. During a chaotic confrontation with Starlight, Queen Maeve, and Kimiko, she gets zapped and zinged by Starlight’s powers.

Then, to top it all off, she receives an unexpected shock from Ryan, Homelander’s not-so-little-anymore son, accidentally zapping her with enough voltage to short-circuit a whole city block. However, that was supposedly not the end! Kripke mentioned the Aya Cash character survived it all!

This was only to be abruptly killed off-screen in the third season, leaving many scratching their heads. Fans are now overjoyed that all this might get rectified in the final season as they still hope that a worse fate awaits her.

What to Expect from the Season Finale of The Boys?

The Boys on Amazon Prime Video is gearing up for its fifth and final season, leaving fans with a mix of excitement and sadness.

Showrunner Eric Kripke, mastermind behind the superhero madness, always intended to wrap up the series on a high note, despite Prime Video’s eagerness to keep the chaos going. Speaking to Deadline, he revealed,

I’ve been thinking about it, and I would speculate that like I was trained on five acts as a television writer. So, it just makes sense to me have enough time to really get to know the characters but not so long that you wear out your welcome.

Further teasing fans about what to expect from the series finale, he revealed,

We’re just figuring it all out now with the writers. I mean, I know where I want it to end up, but we spent the first probably four weeks of the room just talking about like overall mythology and where we want the story to go…

In the broadest possible strokes, and what we want to have happen in the finale. I know that moment where the title card comes up and it says six months later, and you see where everybody is. I know that. I can really write the last 10 pages of this story right now. The rest, you know, we have broad strokes, but we’ll figure it out.
