Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece has entered a key stage in its storyline. With the traitor being revealed on Egghead Island, it was none other than York, one of Dr. Vegapunk’s satellites, who killed Shaka to keep her secret.

Moreover, Atlas and the members of the Straw Hat Pirate crew decided to scavenge the abandoned laboratory for any clues. While fans anticipated what would take place in the next episode, the series decided to make the fans wait and took them on a small yet thrilling detour.

The preview showcased the much-awaited battle between Shanks and Eustass Kid. Episode 1112 showcased the rematch, where Captain Kid decided to go all out; he created a rail gun using his ability and destroyed the fleet of the Red-haired Pirates.

As he was getting ready for the second attack, Shanks decided to join the battle, foreseeing the future for 10 seconds, and launched an overwhelmingly powerful Haki strike, calling it Kamusari (Divine Departure).

With one single slash, both Killer and his captain were slaughtered, and both of them lost consciousness. Shanks decided to let the giants of Elbaph land the final blow, obliterating the Kid Pirates for better or for worse with another devastating attack called Hakoku Sovereignty.

The anime series did not deviate much from the manga, but it made one change in the show. The manga showcased the fight as something where Shanks annihilated Kid without even trying.

The anime decided to make him look much more significant and show some love to the character. Hence, elevating the greatness of the scene to another level. However, one thing is certain: Toei Animation decided to go all out during this fight.

Even though the fight between the two pirates was pretty much one-sided, fans were united as they could not get enough of the animation and how perfect everything was, which showcased every little detail of the scene.
