Directed and written by Osgood Perkins, the movie features Maika Monroe‘s FBI agent tasked to hunt down an occultist serial killer, portrayed by Cage. Set in the 1990s, the film has been having a great time at the box office.
Released on July 12 in the United States, the movie has already shattered two records and is expected to fare better in the upcoming days. As per Deadline, the movie has had the best original opening year-to-date for a horror flick as well as delivered the best-ever start for Neon with $22.6 million.

While it is for sure that not everyone seems to be delighted by the horror thriller, there is no doubt that as per the majority opinion, Longlegs is certainly poised to be one of the best horror films of all time. Having all the hallmarks of a classic horror flick, Cage has yet again proven with his astonishing portrayal in the film that he is not to be taken lightly.
