James Bond has the privilege of being played by different actors, each adding their own unique touch to the character. One of the fan-favorite iterations of the character was the one played by Pierce Brosnan between 1995 – 2002. During his tenure, the actor brought 007 to life for movies starting with GoldenEye (1995) and ending with Die Another Day (2002). The mantle was then forwarded to Daniel Craig.

Now, the hunt for Hollywood’s next James Bond is on but it looks like fans just want Pierce Brosnan to return to the role, especially after seeing his look at Wimbledon. While it’s true that the actor is no longer young, he is definitely aging like fine wine and fans would love to see him play an older version of Bond again. With looks like that, he should have no problem getting back into character effortlessly.

Quite a few popular faces were present at the Wimbledon Championships including Andrew Garfield, Tom Hiddleston, Kate Middleton, and many more. However, we couldn’t take our eyes off Pierce Brosnan who was absolutely rocking the navy-blue suit by Ralph Lauren he had on.

An outfit is just as good as its accessories and Brosnan knew just what to pair with the suit to make him successfully stand out from the crowd. To compliment his attire, the GoldenEye actor locked in the outfit with black Oxford shoes and of course the classic Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 watch to seal the deal. To keep the sun out of his eyes in style, Brosnan opted to switch between two sunglasses – the rose-tinted Jacques Marie Mage “Enzo” shades and another pair of dark glasses.

While he sat court-side with two of Hollywood’s young and good-looking men, Hiddleston and Garfield, it was difficult for fans to take their eyes off Brosnan, and rightly so. He looked sharp, old-school, and absolutely timeless!

While Barbora Krejčíková won the Women’s singles tournament and Carlos Alcaraz the men’s, it was Brosnan who lifted the hypothetical trophy of the best-dressed attendee at the championship.

It has been over two decades since Brosnan starred as James Bond. The last time we saw him he was spending a romantic evening with Halle Berry’s Jinx in Die Another Day.

However, after seeing his impeccable look at the championship, fans couldn’t help but wonder if Brosnan still has a little bit of Bond left within him. He sure looks like he does!

While Henry Cavill has been a fan-favorite contender for the new James Bond, it looks like he now has some competition in the form of Brosnan. From calling for a return to simply being in awe of his looks, fans had a lot to say about the actor:

The Black Adam actor is currently seventy-one years old which makes him a lot older than what casting directors are looking for when it comes to Secret Agent 007. Brosnan could certainly still play an older version of the character though, can he not? We are almost certain he’d be flawless in the role!

You can stream GoldenEye on Prime Video whereas Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day are available to rent/buy on the platform.
