Players can play both in online knockout-based Survival Mode and offline in Party Mode and can also compete with their friends. While players love some of the challenges, the majority of them are said to be underwhelming.

However, what’s more shocking is that the game doesn’t have leaderboards. The leaderboards showing the scores when players compete a game is missing and it has disappointed and infuriated fans. Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb called this “the most infuriating decision Nintendo has made for a game in years.”

He said that he never knew it was possible but forgot that it was Nintendo and he does not get the point of the game without leaderboards. There is a leaderboard for world ranking and that is probably the only ine in the whole game. As per fans this is bad decision making from the company.

I thought the whole point of the game was to know who is the fastest to complete the levels…this sole option turns the game kinda pointless.” Another fan called this a usual fumble from the company.

One user replied, “Nintendo never ceases to amaze me.” Players can not believe how the company shipped the game without leaderboards and many are wondering what is the game offering without the leaderboards.
