Valorant is one of the most popular titles in the world right now. But the problem lies within the game: the constantly growing toxicity in the game. Be it for new players or some less skilled players, this game has become a home for the worst behavioral culture.
Toxicity in the game has posed so much of a grave concern that players have to think twice before taking a single step. And now, even players are getting trolled for buying their favorite skins as well.
Low Ranked Players Can’t Buy Skins in Valorant

Recently, a dedicated Valorant fan shared his disgusting experience on Reddit of being trolled for buying skins in the game. So, this player was playing a competitive match and unfortunately got a surfing Reyna on the team. This was an Iron 2 lobby, which is quite low on standard terms. But that doesn’t mean players in this lobby don’t deserve to buy skins of their choice.
Got told I was too low rank to buy skins lol.

Smurfs are usually a bit arrogant, as they are more skilled than the current lobby they are playing in. So, the constant toxicity is scattered throughout the match whenever a player misses out on an opportunity to match the level of those smurfs.
However, things went out of hand when that surfing Reyna trolled the player for having an RGX Butterfly Knife skin throughout the match. According to Reyna, if a player is of low rank, then he shouldn’t be allowed to buy skins or something.
Buying skins is totally based on the players’ choices; their capabilities don’t count here. Buy whatever skins you want, be it the RGX Butterfly Knife or the brand-new Karambit in the RGX 3,0, aka RGX 11z Pro 3 bundle.
People Are in Support of this Fan
![The community never hesitated to support this Valorant player.](https://fwmedia.fandomwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/18131157/wefwefewf-1024x576.png)
It’s quite natural that people are not going to support the arrogant and toxic behavior of that surfing Reyna. People on that Reddit post have come up with some wholesome comments to show support for that player.
This fan straightway adjudged Reyna as wrong.

Even after working full-time every week, this fan gets an hour or so to play the game just because he wants to feel nice by looking at his skins.

This fan too works full-time to treat himself with skins in the game. According to him, no one has the right to dictate how someone should spend his money except him.

Video games are a place of utmost joy. Not everyone here is trying to become Shroud or Tenz. If buying skins can provide that joy to you, then this is all that matters, no matter how bad you are at the game.
Even after the ever-rising toxicity in the game, these wholesome comments make us believe that Valorant is still the place for pure joy and peace of mind.
