These small creatures are called Tactifriends. Actually, they are a cosmetic collection of the battlepass of the primarily ongoing Act. All of these adorable characters make appearances in the sprays, cards, and as buddies in the battlepass.

One of the most common ones is the Tactibear, which you can easily find near the Gaia’s Vengeance tree in Abyss. There are other characters as well, like:

  • Dan, the Penguin
  • Mance the Cat
  • Rubber Ducky
  • Theo the Pig
  • Trevor the Sloth
  • Tactibunny
  • Tactisquirrel

These Tactifriends are some fascinating Easter Eggs of the game. You can also find them as plushies spotted in several places around all the maps.

As of now, the game features a total of 25 agents. The last one was Clove, which was released on March 26, 2024, in Patch 8.05. Now, the whole community is hyping the next agent in the game. And Abyss can be an influential way to unveil it.

A fan recently came up with a theory about the new character. According to the fan, the upcoming agent might be an alien. At the end of the trailer for the latest map, we see some kind of cryo chamber where an intriguing creature might be preserved. Not only that, the hands of those creatures are also seen to be moving. That might be a viable indicator that the upcoming agent might be released pretty soon.

On the other hand, there are some metallic vines seen piercing through the ground in the Episode 9 trailer. What’s interesting is that the same vines were also in some splash art for the new episode.

Another teaser of this agent can be heard through one of the voice lines of Skye in the Hourglass base: “These plants aren’t indigenous to our earth.” So, there are high chances the 26th agent in the game might well be an alien who is right now preserved in the newest map.
