As they have been doing every month for several years, Epic Games and Fortnite continue to introduce various collaborations, adding new characters to the game. On this occasion, a limited-time event will feature the famous Pirates of the Caribbean saga in a game with various skins.
Well-known characters from this movie series, such as Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones, will be available in the game shop. However, it seems that thanks to a mod for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, the iconic pirate is much better made than anything this collaboration could present.
After a leak earlier this year, Pirates of the Caribbean finally made its way into Fortnite
Thanks to the work of numerous insiders and other content creators, we can know everything that will happen in Fortnite months in advance. These rumors and leaks always turn out to be true, and this seems to be no exception.
Fortnite and Pirates of the Caribbean will collaborate starting today, featuring various skins of different characters from the franchise. The game will feature Jack Sparrow and the cursed villain Davy Jones.
Additionally, as usual with all collaborations, the game will have limited-time events with various weapons and other features related to the franchise. This information was previously leaked in what appeared to be a game’s content roadmap, and so far, everything has been coming true almost flawlessly.

Despite this collaboration, it seems that, thanks to a mod, another game has done a better job portraying these pirates.
Assassin’s Creed and an Exceptionally Well-Crafted Mod
A user on Reddit took advantage of Fortnite’s upcoming full Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration and showcased how a mod of the famous Jack Sparrow looks in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. This installment of Ubisoft’s iconic saga is notable for its focus on famous pirates in general.
This title allowed players to even manage their own pirate ship, rob other ships, and explore much of the Caribbean, all with well-designed mechanics.
The mod clearly transforms the main character into Jack Sparrow, showcasing a well-designed outfit. According to the author of this mod, the work so far only involves a reskin of the main character.
User reception has been quite positive, saying that the modder did a fantastic job adapting this famous pirate’s outfit for Black Flag.
Fortnite usually releases a trailer or short video presenting the collaboration, but in this case, it only showed how the skins will look, anticipating the release date. There is nothing to stop them from launching a trailer today explaining what the Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration event will entail.
Expect the current season of the game to end in mid-August, paving the way for an entirely new map.
