Planet Namek is more native than Earth when we are talking about the Dragon Ball universe. Though it was revealed later, when Goku went on to live his married life with Chi-Chi, it instantly became one of the defining features of the series.

Broly and Gogeta are about to enter a clash but the clip wasn’t long enough to capture the beginning of the battle. But it does capture the serenity that Planet Namek emits. In fact, it appears to be more beautiful than ever in the footage shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero fans were enchanted more by Namek’s environment than by the sparking aura of flying fighters. It is sad that the battles will leave it in a bit of bad condition.

Some fans agree that the Bandai Namco game has some of the best-looking maps in there. There’s no doubt that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is indeed cinema.

And they can’t refuse that Planet Namek is gorgeous.

More maps are likely to be revealed as new trailers arrive, and we know they too are going to be as beautiful as this is.

The creator of the Dragon Ball universe, Akira Toriyama, was more into a natural and rural setting than modern cities. Interestingly, settings like the Namek are easier to draw.

And he wasn’t into dark but light. Which is why Planet Namek has three suns so it’s never dark. It was like a boon to him as the region granted him both his desires to be fulfilled, a rural world, and no darkness.

But the paradox remains, as Namek was featured in one of the darkest arcs, Frieza Saga.

The mighty antagonist blows it to smithereens before his feud with Goku is concluded there. But it wasn’t just Planet Namek that ended up in pieces; he did too. As they say, karma.

The Spike Chunsoft game will feature episodic battles where users can recreate the sagas from the original anime. Namek Saga is certain to become one of the fan favorites in the game.
