It can be frustrating to enjoy a game while there are technical issues, which is not uncommon for modern gaming. Perhaps the developers will focus on stabilizing performance rather than putting out new content that can’t run as smoothly as intended given the many issues.

The gaming community has been experiencing a series of unfortunate events like system crashes while playing Helldivers 2 after the latest update, which can be annoying for players in the middle of an important mission.

Players came up with a poll within the community to select which aspect the developers should prioritize for the next update and it all came down to optimization and stability.

The technical instability of the game did not hamper the spirits of the developers, especially director Johan Pilestedt.

The studio and the game were recently nominated for a handful of awards and among them is technical innovation, Pilestedt joked would have lost if it was for stability.

Players are losing interest because of the technical instability and beg the developers to fix the problem before it dissuades the gaming community from playing.

It will not matter if the team has something new to share if there is no one to try it, not because there is no interest but because the game itself couldn’t run at a stable rate.

Perhaps the outdated game engine is a major factor in the game’s current condition and is running on fumes. The game was built on an antiquated engine which would eventually give out and show signs of age and could not handle what the developers had in store.

Regardless, it is something the gaming community had to deal with and has had enough of. It is time for the studio to take action and be held accountable for how Helldivers 2 is running.

The game is not performing up to standard and people are frustrated. It is time for the developers to get their hands dirty and find a solution.

This will be remembered as a rough patch for the studio, but the developers will likely stop at nothing to restore the game to its former glory, starting with stability.
