Recently, a Valorant fan shared his disgusting experience of getting his gift card canceled automatically. This fan ordered two $100 gift cards, which costed him a total of $175, including all the taxes. Each of these gift cards comes with special codes to redeem free VP (in-game credits). However, even after waiting for three days, the fan didn’t get a redemption code.

When he reached out to customer service, he was told that this delay was because of security reasons. Usually, a buyer gets his codes after a maximum of four hours of the purchase. Hence, waiting for those highly wanted codes for three days is a bit frustrating. So far, everything was bearable until he was informed after three days of waiting that his purchase had been canceled.

The story doesn’t end there. The customer service told him the reason for this cancellation was a failure in payment, whereas the company didn’t even bill him. Things got out of hand when they told this fan that the system thought this purchase was a fraud, but it was from Riot.

Others in the thread then chimed in stating they too had a similar experience, pointing to a bigger problem to be sorted.

On this occasion, Prime Gaming also gave away three games for free to Prime members: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Chivalry 2, and Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebrations. However, these games were available for free until July 16. But this offer also served as a way of reviving the Warner Bros. title as well.

This special day from Amazon is for bringing smiles to millions of it customers. Gamers around the world are also not an exception as well. This strange order cancellation is pretty frustrating as a fan. As of now, there’s no response from either Amazon or Riot. We hope they sort out his order as soon as possible.
