Renji developed a lot throughout the plot but was often sidelined since Ichigo Kuraski was the protagonist. He had learned to control his Shikai and later also unlocked Bankai. With Homelander coming to the Soul Society, it might finally be his time to shine. The fans have chosen him to be the perfect opponent for Homelander. His Zanpakuto, Zabimaru, is a monkey with a snake as its tail. It is one of the most unique Zanpakuto in Bleach and can pose a threat to any Gotei 13 captain. In its Bankai form, it can stretch a long distance, which is a good strategy to stop Homelander from flying too far. The sword can also bite and weaken its enemies. But Homelander also has heat vision and superhuman strength.
Zabimaru can also use energy blasts from its mouth. With everything considered, it might be a great duel and finally, the fans can see the duo of Renji Abarai and Zabimaru in proper full-fledged action. Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War is yet to show an appropriate fight sequence of the red-head. With Homelander there, the situation might change.

While Homelander vs. Renji Abarai is impossible, the momentary joy that the picture provides is enough for the fans.
