Call of Duty fans continue to speculate about Black Ops 6, set to launch on October 25 and are eagerly discussing the features that should be included. The highlight of the upcoming installment is the zombie mode, where fans can’t wait to eliminate angry zombies in exciting new maps.
With just over a month until the beta process begins, fans are now agreeing on a mechanic that should be added to the game. According to the community, a feature in Black Ops Cold War, released in 2020, will be especially useful in the zombie mode of the game.
Call of Duty Fans Think Black Ops 6 Zombies Needs ‘Apply Blueprint’ Feature
It is believed that Black Ops 6 Zombies needs to include the Apply Blueprints feature. This would be particularly useful for fans who are tired of standard weapon skins and want something different and more powerful.
Although fans seem to have reached a consensus on social media platforms, it is too early to say whether this feature will be included in the title. It would be better to wait at least until the beta starts.
In Black Ops Cold War, weapon blueprints are variants of standard weapons, featuring different names and cosmetic enhancements. These blueprints come with pre-equipped attachments, allowing you to use them without needing to level up the weapon first.
To give an example, the Shotgun Alpha blueprint could be called “1337 Skeet” instead of Model 680 or The Ejector.
The major advantage of this mechanic is that even if you don’t have the main weapon, you can still use it as long as you have its blueprint. You can unlock and swap attachments by leveling up the weapon naturally, of course.
Essentially, weapon blueprints look cool and provide attachments you might not have yet but can earn over time. To equip a weapon blueprint in Black Ops Cold War, you needed to go to the Loadout menu. You had to switch between primary and secondary weapons to find the one you wanted, then look for the “Armory” button to the right of the base weapon.
If you wanted to use a weapon you didn’t currently have while in-game, you would apply blueprints to your weapon. You would simply have gone to the main menu and selected the “Apply Blueprint” option, provided you had the appropriate blueprints available.
