The James Bond series is famous for being very strict about how it exudes its wealth. Being the epitome of class in the spy world, everything, ranging from suits to alcohol, playing cards, and props, no costs are spared. This is especially true for vehicles; which are extremely expensive to begin with. The film series is known for picking some of the most expensive cars and adding modifications to them to fit the protagonist’s occupation.

Once the film is out for the world to see, the value of the cars increases tenfold. Being able to buy these cars is a luxury on its own, let alone being about to own one. However, such an opportunity was in the lap of Tristan Tate.

While many would assume that the podcaster cherishes it, he has had his loyalties to another, much-grounded car.

James Bond Car vs a Lada

During a conversation between Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate (via therealuniversityco), the former talked about what he got his brother for his birthday. Having talked about it online, the older brother revealed that he gifted his sibling a car. However, since the pair loved to indulge in luxurious things, the gift had to be a lot more extravagant.

Rather than buying him just any car, the older Tate brother bought him a fully functional and fully restored Aston Martin DB5. This was also not a regular model of the car, being the exact one from the Pierce Brosnan James Bond film. The features added for the movie were still functional, and the entire car cost a total of $2.1 million.

Andrew Tate added that he hoped that the car would finally replace his previous car. However, the younger brother was not very happy with the last part of the gift.

Tristan Tate Knows His Choice

Tristan Tate mentioned that he absolutely adored his new gift, but could not replace his old car, a 1979 Lada 1500 with an average cost of $10,000. While many would assume that he would go for the more expensive option, his willingness to stay close to his roots is quite impressive.

He seems to be very attached to the car, stating that the James Bond car would not be able to replace the way he feels towards his current car. He would rather use the cheaper car and rely on it when he is going out and about in the world than use any of his other, much more expensive cars.

The Lada might not be that great, if all you can afford is a Lada, but when you have a $5 million Bugatti, and you go to pick a chick up in your 1979 Lada, you’re a f*cking G.

He seems to actually practice this in real life. In another conversation with his brother (via The Real World), he stated that being able to afford all the luxuries in the world while still driving around in a car like a Lada was a flex in his definition.
