When it comes to making good and successful projects, it is safe to trust Beau DeMayo’s judgment. Although he has been an important part of the film industry for years, he has recently been thrown into the limelight after he was fired from X-Men ’97 as creator for reasons unknown to fans.

Despite the controversy, he has proven his talent and understanding of the Marvel Universe, as a whole, on several occasions. However, his most recent idea may be the strongest one yet. Audiences are always looking for more characters that can come from the comics in the cinematic universe and which actors would be perfect for said roles.

Beau DeMayo Has Found the Perfect Iron Fist

Manny Jacinto has seemingly taken over the internet after her performance in The Acolyte. Impressing the world with his skills as an actor, even though the series was poorly rated, has certainly gotten his name out there, and a lot of important people are taking note.

Recently, Beau DeMayo made a post on X, where he proposed that the actor enter the MCU through one character; Iron Fist.

Even though Finn Jones has already played the character in Netflix’s Marvel show, the franchise has been taking new approaches towards a lot of iconic heroes. Since the previous attempt was subpar, a fresh take would definitely be appreciated by fans, and who better to play the character than Qimir himself?

Jacinto’s role in the Star Wars series was excellent in every way. Not only did he do most of his stunts himself, but he also possessed a level of charisma and charm that would be perfect if he played the character.

Manny Jacinto as Iron Fist?

There is no denying that Iron Fist’s entry back into the MCU would be perfect, specifically with where the story is right now. When the Netflix series was being released, it was the only story in the entire live-action franchise that dealt with themes of mystical powers tied to dragons, with the closest being Doctor Strange’s magic.

However, a lot has changed since then, which may not be a good thing. With the entry of Shang-Chi into the universe, there are other similar themes with Danny Rand’s Iron Fist. However, this brings about another issue; it is highly unlikely that Rand’s race would be switched and Manny Jacinto would be hired in the role.

Due to this, and the fact that a race swap of Rand would come with a lot of backlash, Jacinto would have to get hired as a character that does not require any change. Thankfully, Lin Lie exists, and he is iconic.

Taking on the role of the Iron Fist after Shou-Lao the Undying, not only is he a beloved character from the comics, but the resemblance between him and Jacinto is uncanny.
