Dafne Keen is returning as X-23 in Deadpool & Wolverine and the final trailer teased that she will have some intense dramatic scenes with Hugh Jackman’s alternate version of Wolverine. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress revealed that she was a bit freaked out when she stepped into her beloved role from Logan in the new film.

Keen further stated that her first scene was intense and shooting it made her feel that she was back doing Logan and not a day had passed. She said,

I was a bit freaked out. We went straight into this pretty intense scene. I know I was freaking out. As soon as they said, ‘Rolling!’ I really felt like we were back doing Logan. It was like eight years hadn’t passed.

Fans are extremely excited about her return, increasing the hype and anticipation for Deadpool & Wolverine. The two-hander film led by Ryan Reynolds and Jackman is expected to have a huge opening weekend as people prefer to watch it sooner to avoid spoilers. Deadpool & Wolverine hits theatres on July 26, 2024.
