Arrowhead Game Studios has recently provided Helldivers 2 players with exciting information about one of the latest Major Orders. Although the Galactic War rages on, it has been confirmed that democracy wins the day, with Choepessa IV being taken out of the hands of Automaton forces.
However, while Helldivers should be proud of this accomplishment, completing it with only 43 minutes remaining, players are expressing their disinterest in the spoils of this war, requesting a different kind of upgrade.
Some Helldivers 2 Players Have a Different Kind of Upgrade in Mind
As previously mentioned, Helldivers 2 players have taken control of Choepessa IV, which was announced on the r/Helldivers subreddit. In addition to commendations, it was revealed that players will be granted temporary free use of the EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit.

Free time with this Helldivers 2 emancipator is going to excite many players who want an edge on the battlefield. The design of this particular weapon of war is meant for taking on heavily armored foes, and it sports two twin autocannons to get the job done.
However, while some might be ready to jump back into the line of fire with this new vessel, others have forgotten the prize for even greater dreams.
One such gamer, who believes Arrowhead can do better, is Reddit user, u/turningthecentury. This player went straight to the point in their response to the announcement, explaining what upgrades they would rather see.

In the reply, which can be found above, u/turningthecentury expressed a need for planetary liberation and decay rate information on the war table. The Redditor also stated that tutorials involving gambits and supply lines would be a great help in advancing the narrative.
The kicker is the sign-off to the reply, which states: “Sincerely, a demoralized helldiver who’s finding it increasingly difficult to keep going like this.”
The Gaming Community Is Going Through the Motions With Helldivers 2
The unfortunate truth about the Helldivers 2 community is that it seems each day more and more players are sharing these negative sentiments about the game. Some of the latest complaints involve liberating the same planets, balance issues, and the lack of significant narrative progression.
Although there may not be a definite way to turn things around, Arrowhead Game Studios has made a habit of listening to player feedback.
Perhaps, adding extra stats to the war table and updating tutorials is something the developers will consider, but it is also possible these features have been omitted for a reason.
While these changes may very well improve the overall quality of the game, Arrowhead will likely want to avoid repeating history by making a fix that is not received well by the majority of players.
Ultimately, only time will tell whether Helldivers 2 will continue to be a success, but as updates continue, players should not count it out.
