Accept it or not, we all hated him when he first appeared in Dragon Ball. It’s not surprising, as none from the Crane school was really loving. But we all fell in love with that big bang in a tiny pack. Chiaotzu has always been an interesting character in the series.

While he wasn’t really someone who could beat a fighter black and blue, there was always something mysterious about him. But that’s the thing with mystery people—they always bring something fun to the table. And Chiaotzu is certainly our man.

Chiaotzu is Already GOAT-ed For Some Dragon Ball Fans

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero isn’t simply focusing on bringing new characters onto the roster; they know the ones who carry considerable weight, no matter their size. New images show Chiaotzu will be a part of the upcoming Spike Chunsoft game.

It’s been a while since they saw him as a playable character and fans realized this as they saw these images circulating on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Some fans were seen hoping for the Crane School outfit in the Bandai Namco game. That certainly will add some salt to the Dragon Ball game.

As we have already mentioned, he’s not really that tough of a fighter, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be the ‘greatest of all time’ for some.

The images were part of the latest gameplay that was uploaded on video sharing platform YouTube. It is safe to say that developers have done some fabulous job using the power of Unreal Engine 5 in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.

Maybe Not The Strongest, But Certainly One of the Bravest

Transformations are the best part of any story and Chiatozu’s transformation alongside Tien Shinhan, who was his best friend, are one of the best in the series. The character first appeared during the Fortuneteller Baba saga as they both are bamboozling villages as con artists.

However, it wasn’t until the World Martial Arts Tournament that we got to see how mysterious our little man is. But fans did loved the way he roasted Krillin. But they certainly didn’t liked the way he roasted (literally) one of his opponents during the qualifiers.

But the World Martial Arts Tournament was where we saw the transformation of the Crane school pupils. And he went down as one of the bravest fighters in the series, which becomes evident as he sacrifices himself in an attempt to kill Nappa.
