One of the most popular modes, more geared towards team-based gameplay, is where players need to stay within a zone to capture it for their team. It’s similar to Call of Duty Headquarters, but it can also lead to players venting their frustration regarding the community.

Occupation Zones, much like the capture zones in Call of Duty, are more manageable and progress faster when more players are in the capture area. Not only does it make the capture bar go faster, but it also allows for a more strategic defensive advantage. Sadly, as Redditor hansuma69 has pointed out, some players are out to act on their own rather than secure the mission objective.

The issue is not the only problem fans of the game have had with the community. Bunny is one of the most popular characters to choose when playing the game, but not everyone can play her effectively. Many The First Descendant players have urged Bunny mains to kit her out appropriately with some health mods to avoid getting knocked down repeatedly.

Others have pointed out how this kind of player is there in every game. The First Descendant Occupation Zones may require all players to be present, but many are after their fun and care little about ensuring the entire team can succeed. Appealing to the community may be an option, but it is unlikely to yield any results and change the way these people play.

Along with expressing their frustration with the community, players have also encountered several technical issues. NEXON Games is on the task of fixing as many as possible, but fans have expressed their admiration for the studio for how they handled the situation of a gold and Kuiper farming exploit.

Instead of patching it out or reducing its effectiveness, the studio decided to increase the output and efficiency of all the other outposts to match the farm. This is a wildly different approach to such an issue, as other studios would prefer to make the game harder by eliminating the tactic.

The decision has led many fans to express their gratitude and appreciation for the hotfixes, stating that there aren’t any developers like NEXON in the market currently. The studio has also been compared to Arrowhead Games Studio of Helldivers 2 fame for their hotfixes.
