  • This alternate fire generally deals more damage to the opponents or the utilities.
  • However, there is a video which shows that Sage walls are easier to break with the left click jabs of the knife, rather than the right click.

Valorant is one of the most popular titles in the world right now. One of the major reasons for the game’s huge popularity is its diverse agent roster and the unique abilities of each of them. If played in an appropriate way, any agent can be the OP in the game.

For example, with perfect tripwire and camera placements, Cypher can resist any attacking force into the defender site. On the other hand, every move from the agent can be countered by another move from another agent, just like throwing Sova’s shock dart or Raze’s nade can destroy the trips.

Sage’s wall is one of the strongest defensive utilities in Valorant. This wall can not only block attackers from rushing into a defending site, but it can also give an ample amount of time to defuse the spike behind it before it gets destroyed by the opponents. Intelligent players sometimes even use this wall to elevate themselves to create unusual angles to get some easy frags.

With a huge amount of HP, Sage’s wall is quite a hard nut to crack. Breaking it with guns will not only empty your magazine but will also make you vulnerable to your enemies. That’s why people prefer to break it with a knife. And for that, a dedicated fan has come out with a solid trick to break it fast.

In a video shared on Reddit, the fan has shown that it’s easy to break the Sage wall with the knife when using the left click, but not the right click. In this video, we can see it took the player six jabs from the right-click fire of the knife to break the wall, taking 6.416 seconds. Although with the left click firing, it takes 8 jabs, it can break the wall in just 03.733 seconds, which is almost half of the alternate fire.

Right Click Deals More Damage in Valorant

It’s strange to hear this stat because, in this game, right-clicking or the alternate fire gives more damage to the opponents or the utilities. For example, a single Jett knife can sometimes miss, but if fired properly, the alternate fire throws all the knives at once and kills the enemy for sure. However, after an alternate fire, Jet used to get back all her knives upon confirming a kill, which is not the case anymore.

Another example would be classic. This pistol becomes a shotgun when fired with the left click, as it shoots three pellets at once. The alternate fire of this gun can be deadly if fired from close range and can guarantee a one-shot down if hit on the head.

Bucky is another example of alternate firing supremacy. This weapon is a shotgun but can deal heavy damage in mid-range as well if fired with the right click, which fires a canister that detonates after a distance of 7.5 m. However, this firing option is only useful in mid-range fights, as the normal left-click firing option is still the best in short-range fights.
