Fans have expressed their concern regarding the difficulty level increasing to 10 which is going to be an annoying experience for most of Helldivers 2 players out there as the increase in difficulty is not marginally proportional to match the other builds so that it balances things out.

Helldivers 2’s bots and bugs have fixed HP and AD in every difficulty with an increase in their armor with each level rise which is a major cause of concern for most players as no framework is laid down to match that.

Players are claiming this difficulty to be unfair and they do not wish to look at the bright side of this update which looks rather meek. 7+ difficulty was already the cause for major concern and was considered unfair.

Players are thinking about relying on bugs to play with such difficulty, which is not a great sign for the developers as this will not help increase the game’s longevity and further hinder the player count.

However, not everyone has the same opinion, and such is the case here as well. Many people have praised the range of difficulty in the game as it helps make the game inclusive.

People of varied skill sets can adopt different play styles and approach the game according to their experience and skill which is a great contributor to inviting new players to the game and keeping the community healthy.

If you want a gruesome experience you can very well go for a level 9 or 10 after this update but if you want a relatively chill time in the game then by all means you have the option of doing so.

The next big update is not all bad and has many other things apart from the increase in level. Players need to be open-minded about it as the inclusion of yet another level is not going to hinder the experience of the game as you can easily switch between levels in the game.
