Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree builds on the strengths of the base game, bringing a range of new boss fights to the game. While some of these fights are often predictable, others are absolutely devastating and can feel random at times.
However, one player seems to have figured out a build that sets itself apart when it comes to endgame content. This isn’t a bug or glitch. Rather, it’s a complex build made up of the right weapon and incantations that make the final battle feel much simpler.
A Greatsword and a Couple of Buffs Are All You Need to Face Radahn
Recently, user SignorBanana showed off their build to the community on Reddit. You may assume that this is some fancy build that includes some of the best weapons in the game. Surprisingly, that’s actually not the case.
The gameplay video showcases single hits from the greatsword that hurt Radahn. A lot! So much so that the boss staggers after a few attacks, giving the player ample time to do further damage.

It’s not just the sword, though; the player has used additional buffs thanks to items like the Godslayer’s Seal and Shard of Alexander, which are useful tools for melee weapon wielders.
Showcasing a playstyle like this opens up the possibility for many others who prefer using heavier builds like this one, and we can’t wait to see what the community comes up with.
Promised Consort Radahn Is an Incredibly Difficult Boss in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree
The fight has been somewhat controversial, even though most players agree that it’s tremendously difficult. Compared to the first game, this version of Radahn is in his prime, assisted by none other than Miquella.
Promised Consort Radahn’s moveset comprises gravitational attacks mixed with damage buffed by Miquella’s faith-based powers. Overall, this fight can feel like the culmination of multiple demigods players may have gone against in the past.
If you don’t have a build like the one showcased by user SignorBanana, it can be quite daunting going against the DLC’s final boss. After all, this is one of the hardest fights that FromSoftware has created, and there’s no easy way of “cheesing” this one.
