Sparking Zero fans are now nitpicking at extreme levels. Dragon Ball fans have always debated on things like Vegeta’s neck going from a black willow to a baobab, and this will always be a matter of interest for the fans. But now, they found another nitpick in the upcoming game.

These tiny details are what make a conversation worth listening to. Another one has been sparked, and this time it’s for the series’ video game adaptation that is due this October.

Our Saiyan prince still has a big mouth; it’s just the size of it that concerns the fans. They noticed how tiny his mouth appeared as they shared some of the snippets of the game. Turns out it wasn’t really their cup of tea to see him like that.

Why is it always him that has to be the center of the issue in the upcoming Bandai Namco game? Last time, it was his tail that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero fans highlighted that needed a fix.

Now it’s his tiny mouth that’s bugging them. Though that doesn’t change the fact that the game is pure cinema.

My only gripe is Vegeta’s tiny mouth

A fan suggested that it’s not a big deal and just the art style. Every character in the Spike Chunsoft game has it.

Another fan had a funny solution, but it probably isn’t a developer thing to do.

Though Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero fans are busy nitpicking the character, clips that have emerged on the internet lately show great attention to detail, especially when his energy attacks like Big Bang are taken into account.

Vegeta Was Never Supposed to be Here With Us at All

Like the short mouth, Vegeta was supposed to be a short-lived character in the Dragon Ball universe. Goku was supposed to kill his now-best friend (kind of) at the end of the Saiyan arc. But then he grew up in popularity; pulling a ‘Soap‘ like we saw in Modern Warfare 3 (2003) wouldn’t be worthy.

Even Akira Toriyama was surprised at this. He said during an interview that:

I couldn’t imagine that a guy with this kind of hairstyle would become popular, and yet he’d get more votes than Goku in favorite-character polls.

It wasn’t just the Saiyan prince who went through a transformation; Akira Toriyama had a similar reaction. He never liked him initially but that changed with time given his straightforward personality.

2024 is going to be a Dragon Ball year soon. We have Daima and the Bandai Namco game releasing soon. Considering we lost Toriyama earlier this year, this is going to be a perfect tribute to the man who made so many childhoods a fun place to be.
