On July 25, 2024, popular streamer IShowSpeed once again stunned the internet with his latest daring stunt. In a jaw-dropping video, the 19-year-old streamer is seen leaping over a Lamborghini Huracan, driven at high speed by his father.

The video shared on his Instagram shows the 19-year-old streamer executing the stunt. Speed later explained that he had to do the jump not once but three times as his father drove the Cristiano Ronaldo-themed car towards him.

Darren “IShowSpeed” is no stranger to viral moments, often pushing the boundaries of entertainment with his extreme antics. Speed’s Instagram post quickly went viral, accumulating millions of views and likes.

Despite the impressive display, many fans were quick to label the video as heavily edited. Speed, however, assured his followers of its authenticity, even sharing multiple angles of the jump to dispel doubts. 

Speed’s daredevil nature has been a staple of his online persona. Known for his outrageous acts such as his stint in the WWE amongst many others, this latest stunt is a testament to his relentless pursuit of viral fame.

Speed’s Lamborghini, custom-painted in homage to Cristiano Ronaldo, adds a unique flair to the stunt. The car sports the colors of the Portuguese national football team and Ronaldo’s signature celebration on the front.

Speed had shared his purchase of the car in March 2024, delighting his 21+ million Instagram followers. This car is one of the last models with a naturally aspirated engine. Reactions to the stunt have been mixed, with some fans expressing awe and others concern for Speed’s safety.

Twitch streamer xQc and many others speculated that the video might be fake, citing the perfect camera angles and the seamlessness of the jump. Logan Paul vouched for the stunt after examining the footage. Paul highlighted the consistency of IShowSpeed’s shadow on the car as evidence. He even called Speed to confirm the stunt’s reality.

Speed performed the jump three times and recorded multiple angles of it. His cameraman, Slipz confirmed this and added additional footage explaining that technical issues with the drone required multiple takes.

Outside of his stunts, IShowSpeed is known for his energetic and often unpredictable streaming style. He’s known for his sports-themed content and often shares his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, which is evident in the design of his Lamborghini.

Speed also regularly collaborates with other popular streamers like Kai Cenat, with whom he recently played the viral indie game Chained Together in a marathon 12-hour live stream.
