With the release of the game’s DLC Shadow of the Erdtree in 2024, players expected more difficult enemies to fight and more hidden secrets to find. The game delivered on both premises and added some more as well.

For those who don’t know, Godwyn is the son of Queen Marika and a key figure in the game’s mythos. Players expected to see a boss fight or more details about him in the DLC, but it was surprisingly missing and players were sad about it.
