Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman‘s Deadpool & Wolverine featured a plethora of high-profile stars. One such celebrity was Jennifer Garner, who brought out her Elektra corset suit from the closet after 19 years, last donning it in 2005’s Elektra. While her cameo in the movie was known given several spoilers, the actress detailed how uncomfortable she felt while wearing Elektra’s extremely tight costume, in a past interview.

During a Glamour interview, the actress talked about the costumes and outfits she wore throughout her cinematic career. In the same segment, while talking about Daredevil (2003), she recalled if she had to go to the washroom, then the entire outfit had to be cut down and then sewn back together. This took the entire crew about 45 minutes, so most of the time she had to hold it in.

Further, to achieve the desired bust size for Elektra, the outfit involved several fake padding, made of chicken cutlets. Due to this, the actress constantly found herself on the brink of a malfunction. She further added:

And I had so many chicken-cutlet fake boobs in to make Elektra’s boobs; I think there were three on each side of different sizes. And everything was pushed up and out. (Further) I was just this close to a wardrobe malfunction at all times. There’s not enough tape in the world to make this stuff safe.

Ben Affleck, on the other hand, did not have several complaints regarding the Batman suit while appearing in a past interview on The Graham Norton Show (via People). Still, Affleck added that Christian Bale gave him a friendly suggestion that he should “make sure they on a zipper on the (Batman) suit.” Further, he actually acted upon that advice, and “it proved quite useful.”

Once Hollywood’s ‘IT’ couple, Garner and Affleck currently maintain a friendly relationship. The two are regularly spotted together taking part in activities and errands that involve their three kids. But before finalizing their divorce in 2017, the actress had revealed what she felt about Affleck’s bulk-up for playing Batman.

In a candid interview on Live With Kelly and Mark, Garner had an amusing anecdote involving her then-husband to share with the audience. She talked about seeing Affleck frequently during the filming of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. But despite the iconic nature of the Batman suit, the actor never wore it at home. The reason behind it was that it took a village to “get it off.”

Garner further joked and added, “If we were in the heat of passion, I would be like, let me get a chainsaw,” as she didn’t know how to get it off. After this, she also mentioned the hard work and dedication it took for the actor to play the iconic Caped Crusader. Taking about his intense physical exercise and training, Garner added, “He’s gained 30 pounds of muscle and has just 8% body fat.”
