Not all is well in the world of Yellowstone but that is not just obvious to the trolls and haters. Taylor Sheridan’s cowboy series brings out the grimy underbelly of the superficial ranch life fantasy. Filled with character stereotypes like John and Beth Dutton, the series mixes political machinations with generational trauma and corporate hierarchy.

The real intrigue in the series’ storyline comes from the interfamilial drama and the ranches. Although Sheridan fails to raise the bar on the show past its third season, the fanbase of Yellowstone is vested enough to see it through till the end.
Yellowstone Fans Find Another Character to Target
The recent animosity between the Yellowstone fans and the show is rooted in a deep-seated hatred directed at Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton and her treatment of Jaime. However, with time, a faction of the fandom has found a different character to aim their rage at and that involves Yellowstone’s very own Angela Blue Thunder.

The Native American character, portrayed by Q’orianka Kilcher, first appeared in the show in the Season 3 episode, Going Back to Cali. In her total of 8 episode appearances, the support that she raked up among the viewers suggests that she would not make a very sociable person. Just as ruthless as she is vicious, Angela Blue Thunder could give Beth Dutton some serious competition.
However, the audience’s problem with the character originates not from their hatred for her manipulations, puppeteering, or power politics but due to the way she presents herself. Despite there being enough scrutiny on the budget of the Paramount series, the fans seem concerned with whoever is in charge of Kilcher’s hair and make-up department.
Angela Blue Thunder Attracts the Wrong Kind of Attention

Despite there being enough evidence to the contrary, the fan movement surrounding Angela Blue Thunder suggests an awe-inspiring ferociousness lurking underneath her character. But one physical trait takes away all of that from her character. As per Reddit fans:
All she does is threaten but I never actually see any action. She seemed to just come out of no where and decide she knows whatsup. Squid ward face looking thing.
Her makeup has also become a point of contention among Yellowstone fans. One fan, RachaelBlonde says: “Her lipstick color infuriates me,” while another fan adds to that stating:
Yes! Everything about her makeup is infuriating. Why? Why is the lipstick so, so dark? Why is her makeup so heavy? Was it a request from the actress?
Although the make-up may be a personal choice (or even a professional one), the crux of the problem regarding the audience’s outright disgust for her character is rooted in the series writing. After getting 3 seasons of purely enjoyable material, Yellowstone has gone down the drain, making it easier for the fans to take their anger out on whatever character dares to annoy them.
