With Marvel attending the San Diego Comic-Con 2024, a new trailer for the upcoming MCU movie was showcased and star Anthony Mackie was called on stage to discuss the character. However, it seems that the MCU will have one game-changing element introduced soon.
Captain America: Brave New World Introduces The MCU To Adamantium
We all know that with the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, the X-Men universe is soon going to join the MCU as movies and series are released. From Wolverine to X-23, from Fantastic Four to Galactus, everyone’s going to be a part of the MCU sometime in the future.
With the introduction of Wolverine into the MCU, his adamantium claws weren’t talked about in the movie. However, until now, the MCU has only been living with vibranium technology.
At the SDCC (via ScreenRant), a new trailer for Captain America: Brave New World was revealed. The trailer opens with Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus Ross addressing the world leaders. The words “Celestial mass” and “Indian Ocean” are used to describe the object.
Harrison Ford’s General Thaddeus Ross completes his sentence by saying: “Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: adamantium.”
However, this isn’t the most shocking thing that Marvel and Kevin Feige did at the San Diego Comic-Con 2024 as Robert Downey Jr. confirmed his official return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Why Did Robert Downey Jr. Return As Doctor Doom?
Surely, it’s not a bad thing that Downey Jr. decided to return to the MCU after his character died in Avengers: Endgame. But, all fans can think about is the question- why did he decide to return as Doctor Doom?
Well, according to Downey Jr. (via YouTube), he had a very simple reason to return to the MCU. After his journey as Iron Man was over, Downey Jr. was offered the same thing but with a different character.

He elaborated that he liked playing characters that were complicated and were in the gray area of morality instead of the usual black and white. So, the world is pretty excited about the return of Robert Downey Jr. and the release of Captain America: Brave New World.
Starring Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford in prominent roles, Captain America: Brave New World is set for a release date of 14 February 2025 in theaters across the U.S.
