While Call of Duty titles have been positioned on a yearly basis for many years at this point, it looks like Black Ops 6 will be a defining moment for the Activision’s iconic franchise. It’s been four years since Treyarch developed its own game, and the next Black Ops title brings the brand back to its roots.

Modern Warfare 3 was recently added to Game Pass, which got players excited. Although the game is a year old, and its launch wasn’t perfect, players are loving the experience while they wait for Black Ops 6.

While playing Modern Warfare 3, players came across various game features and mechanics, which reminded them why exactly the game was hated initially. One of these was the title’s wacky voice system, which is plagued by issues.

For months, players have been reporting issues related to the mic chat system in Modern Warfare 3. It consistently fails to recognize obvious offenders and hand them appropriate punishment.

What’s worse is that sometimes gamers who don’t even have a mic plugged in can get falsely reported and suspended. This has led to many players hoping that the next game in the franchise doesn’t feature this ridiculous feature; otherwise, they’ll be forced to move on.

Call of Duty‘s legendary multiplayer mode is nothing without the voice chat system. If Activision and Treyarch want to build up that legacy with the upcoming Black Ops, it’s clear that they need to fix the voice chat system. It’s the only way to prevent bogus Call of Duty bans and allow players to have an enjoyable experience.

With the upcoming Black Ops 6, it’s going to be a perfect time for gamers to examine if Treyarch and Activision have learned from the mistakes of their previous disastrous launches. It’s been confirmed that the upcoming Black Ops’ open beta will debut on September 6 and end on September 9.

However, if you’re a hardcore fan, you can pre-order Black Ops 6 and get early access to the beta period, which will run from August 30 to September. Even purchasing the Xbox Game Pass subscription will allow you to jump into the action early.

It’s the first time we’re ever going to witness a game in the legendary franchise that brings a cross-platform beta. The game’s beta will happen across all platforms at the same time.
