Harrison Ford is all set to return to the big screens with Captain America: Brave New World, and this time, his role is much different than anything fans have ever seen him as before. While he has embodied one or two bad-guy roles before, this one, which will notably mark his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will show him seeing red as Thunderbolt Ross.

But since this one’s a new theme for him to jump in, some couldn’t help but make one comparison between his character in Marvel and that of Indiana Jones in the iconic titular saga. And, hilariously enough and in true Ford manner, the only response the actor has for this comparison is “complete disdain,” as he made evident during the recently held Comic-Con 2024 panel.

Harrison Ford Reacts to Comparison Between Indiana Jones and Red Hulk

Following the film’s preview and bombastic revelations of new debuts in the MCU at the recently held San Diego Comic-Con 2024, the Brave New World cast sat down to chit-chat about their respective roles in the saga. During this, it was also revealed that Giancarlo Esposito is playing the King of the Serpent Society, Sidewinder, in the movie.

This brought up an incredibly interesting question for Harrison Ford, who will be making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through the antagonist role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross: Who’s the better one at catching snakes – his Marvel villain (since he would be catching the Serpent Society leader in the movie as the President) or his iconic forever fan beloved hero Indiana Jones?

Yet, when this question made its way to the Raiders of the Lost Arkstar’s attention, he didn’t have the most favorable response for fans. Responding to Entertainment Weekly‘s question about the same, he hilariously reacted:

I’ve always treated these questions with the utmost respect and somehow, at the same time, complete disdain. I will not answer that stupid question. But thank you. I mean, I’m delighted to have the opportunity.

While getting the response to this would have indeed been much more interesting, we’re okay with Ford dodging the question so sarcastically as well. If anything, this entire reaction has left fans in tears at just how hard Ford is Ford-ing with his straight-up answers and opinions.

While Ford may have just clean-sweep his way out of this one, leaving no room for any further questions or anyone even probing him to respond, fans are having some of the best time of their lives watching the 82-year-old actor’s classily roasting response. If anything, they can’t help but express this trait of the actor is exactly why they love him so much.

Taking to X, here’s what the top responses from these die-hard fans say:

Needless to say, Ford’s response and all of these fan reactions to it just further hints at one major thing: Harrison Ford out on press tour for the upcoming Captain America 4 is going to be some seriously amusing turn of events much anticipated by fans as the 88-year-old goldie already seems all set to destroy the interviews with even more witty responses than perhaps even Ryan Reynolds!
