While Kevin Feige has confessed his love for Star Wars and was even tapped to be involved in a film collaborating with Kathleen Kennedy of Lucasfilm, the Marvel chief seems to be a bigger Trekkie. The producer has mentioned loads of times how the Star Wars franchise should take a leaf from Star Trek and boldly go where no one has ever gone.

Feige also appreciated the ending of Star Trek: The Next Generation, which sees Captain Picard playing poker with his teammates on a rare occasion of him being on the same level as the rest of the crew. He said to Inverse,

I talk a lot because I’m a big-a*s nerd, about Star Trek: The Next Generation, ‘All Good Things…’ That to me is one of the best series finales ever. That wasn’t about death. Picard went and played poker with the crew, something he should have done a long time ago, right?

Feige is often known for his in-depth knowledge about the properties he involves himself in and has never shied away from expressing his love for other shows. His love for Star Trek eventually led him to showrunner Terry Matalas for Vision.
