Kohei Horikoshi has announced that My Hero Academia chapter 430 will be released on August 4, 2024. It will be the final chapter of the Shonen manga. Deku and his Pro-Hero friends have saved the world from the evil grasp of All for One and Tomura Shigaraki. It was a great manga, but everything comes to an end. With that thought, Gege Akutami paid their tributes to the mangaka.

Gege Akutami is one of the popular mangakas of the modern generation. Their creation, Jujutsu Kaisen, has racked up millions of followers since its debut, especially in Western countries. They are a huge fan of Kohei Horikoshi’s work. With the latter ending their magnum opus on August 4, 2024, they paid tribute to him. They said, “Without “My Hero Academia” “Jujutsu Kaisen” wouldn’t have started either.”

Kohei Horikoshi has known them for a long time. During the fifth anniversary of My Hero Academia, Gege Akutami was one of the mangaka who congratulated him on his success. They also mentioned that they want to be like him. But there was a rumor that the Horikoshi was mimicking Akutami. Apart from that, both of them have drawn each other’s characters. The Jujutsu Kaisen creator had drawn a bunch of My Hero Academia’s Pro-Heroes for the manga’s 23rd volume.

Horikoshi also did the same by congratulating them on their fifth volume and drew Gojo, Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara. Their relationship has come a long way and seeing them appreciate each other has made the fans happy. Gege Akutami said that Horikoshi inspired them to walk down the path of a mangaka. Unfortunately, the fans will no longer be able to see the weekly viewership battle between the two.

Deku Defeats One For All and Tomura Shigaraki In My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia began its serialization in 2014. The story was quickly picked up by the fans, and they started to demand an anime adaptation. In 2016, the first season of My Hero Academia aired, and it became an instant hit. The light-hearted pattern of Izuku Midoriya trying his best to become a Pro-Hero despite his shortcomings had everyone rooting for him. Soon, Kohei Horikoshi changed the setup, and the story took a darker plot.

The villains plotted to eradicate the Hero Association and declared an all-out war. The Final Saga of the manga stretched for a couple of years, with All for One and Tomura Shigaraki wreaking havoc. Deku defeated the villains put an end to their tyranny.  A decade-long run is concluding, and the fans are nothing but grateful to the mangaka.
