Suicide Squad Isekai has proven the potential of superhero franchise adaptions to the anime genre to be a great success. While Deadpool and Wolverine’s recent blockbuster movie has taken the Marvel franchise to new heights, DC fans are also enjoying their fair share of amusement seeing their beloved character explore new mysteries in an Isekai universe.
Suicide Squad Isekai perfectly highlights each DC character’s traits before starting their adventure tale in another universe. Indeed, the series receives tons of praise from the fandom for perfectly blending the DC universe with the concept of the Isekai. The anime Suicide Squad Isekai has brought beloved characters into the series, such as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and many more DC Comics icons as well.
However, among all the fan-favorite faces, Clayface stands out the most because of his clever humor and otaku/weeb-like personality. Clayface: The Unexpected Star Who Steals the Show in Suicide Squad Iseka
One of the reasons behind Suicide Squad Isekai‘s immense success is its narrative and adding new life to the beloved DC villains. Surprisingly, Clayface quickly becomes the crowd favorite despite the presence of more popular DC icons such as Harley Quinn, King Shark, and many more.
Some believe it’s because the DC villain resembles one of the anime’s great antagonists, Muzan Kibutsuji. Well, Clayface’s short comedic scene showcasing Michael Jackson-inspired dance steps did become an amusement source for several Hollywood and Demon Slayers fans. Apart from all his epic comedic scenes, Clayface’s knowledge and interests in the Isekai world just add more depth to the DC villain’s character.
