Riot Games recently launched the console version of its popular FPS, Valorant, in a limited beta. And it has been a hit as players flock to play their favorite game on a controller. Launched just seven weeks ago, the Valorant Console Beta has already gotten thousands of players, and Riot just released some statistics for the early beta.
One of the stats released was that one player had played 1312 games on the Valorant console edition. This statistic translates to an average of 25 matches every single day. Fans are left to wonder just how crazy that player must be.
Valorant Console Hasn’t Even Been Out Long But It’s Already a Banger
The open beta for Valorant‘s console version kicked off on July 26, 2024, available exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series S|X. Riot Games has limited the beta to select regions, including the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, and Brazil. Despite being in the beta phase, the game is already massively popular and has received praise.
It’s been out for 7 weeks so that means that kid has played an average of 25 matches EVERY SINGLE DAY. How is that even possible 😂

The statistics that Riot Games showed from the first few weeks of the beta are quite insane. One player named SHIAPQPQ in-game has already played more than 1300 games on the console beta. This translates to an average of more than 25 matches every single day since the beta’s release.
Some of the comments were speculating on how this would even be possible and if game modes like Swift play count. Another impressive stat is the most kills achieved by a single player, which stands at an impressive 10689 kills!
Swift play and deathmatch modes, which have shorter game durations, could account for the high number of matches and kills. In deathmatch, games last around 8 minutes, while Swift Play takes about 15 minutes. This could be the reason for the number of matches and kills within the available time frame, though it still requires incredible dedication.
Riot Continues To Find Success With Its Decisions

Riot Games has been closely monitoring the beta, using the data collected to refine the game. The beta phase is crucial for identifying bugs, balancing gameplay, and ensuring that the matchmaking system functions effectively. Riot is dedicated to delivering a high-quality experience, even in the beta stage.

The beta has also revealed interesting trends in player behavior. For instance, many players seem to prefer shorter game modes like Swift Play and Deathmatch, which offer quicker matches and faster-paced action.
The future of Valorant on consoles looks promising, with a full release expected by the end of 2024. The developers also plan to expand the game’s availability to more regions. Valorant’s expansion to consoles has attracted a new wave of players to its already massive player base.
With the full release on the way, the challenge will be maintaining this momentum and ensuring that it meets the expectations set by the beta’s early success.
