The man who’s hung from planes and scaled skyscrapers is about to outdo himself (once again!) According to TMZ, Cruise has already nailed the skydiving part, secretly filming the daring feat back on a Saturday morning in March. The Top Gun star has been involved in a few past Olympic ceremonies. In 2004, he lit up LA, carrying the Olympic torch in a global relay leading up to the Athens Summer Games.

The year’s Olympic broadcast will be cut to a pre-recorded sequence showing Cruise’s airborne journey with the Olympic flag, culminating in the Hollywood sign hero landing. Next up, the flag’s getting handed off to a cyclist, skateboarder, and volleyball player to keep the relay rolling to LA.
Mark your calendars—August 11’s Paris Olympics closing ceremony is gonna be epic with Tom Cruise set to take ‘impossible’ to whole new levels!
Tom Cruise and Ex-Wife Nicole Kidman’s Paris Olympics Hide-and-Seek

You wouldn’t believe it if we told you, but Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise managed to dodge each other at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Yep, the ex-power couple, who’ve been playing hide-and-seek since their divorce in 2001, pulled off another Houdini act (via Tribune).
Cruise was courtside on July 28th, all eyes on Simone Biles during the women’s artistic gymnastics qualification round. Two days later, it was Kidman’s turn to shine with her husband, Keith Urban, and their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith. Cheering on Team USA with her family and rubbing shoulders with Serena Williams and Natalie Portman, Kidman witnessed Biles lead Team USA to gold.
This isn’t exactly breaking news, though. The pair have a long history of avoiding each other at big events. Remember when Cruise skipped the Oscars last year? Classic dodgeball move. Also, Kidman recently spilled some tea about their marriage while talking about their 1999 film, Eyes Wide Shut. Turns out, director Stanley Kubrick was obsessed with their relationship, grilling them both for the film.
But here’s the kicker, Kubrick seemed way more into Cruise, using him as a sounding board for his character. So, while Nicole was dealing with personal questions, Tom was bonding with the director over their on-screen alter egos. Talk about awkwardness!
The 2024 Paris Olympics started on July 24 and will wrap up on August 11.
