Helldivers 2, the co-op shooter has been a highlight of games released for PlayStation 5 so far this year. The game has seen a lot of ups and downs since its launch but players have always loved playing the game.
However, the community has been divided over several things in the game and one fan has suggested a community pot to be brought to Helldivers 2. Fans think it will help the players bring together that’ll be good for the game.
Helldivers 2 Fans Want Community Pot in the Game
Arrowhead Game Studios has always taken feedback and suggestions from the Helldivers 2 community such as if there are any bugs to fix or something to be added. The newly appointed CEO of the studio, Shams Jorjani, recently took to the game’s subreddit asking players for feedback.
This was to get some ideas about how to use resources that are earned by competing missions such as medals and samples in long term progression. The suggestions had to be line with game’s overall design and one player suggested that the developer could bring a “big, huge, community pot.”
The player’s idea is to bring a pot where can players can choose to donate different kind of resources. This includes all that is earned after completing missions. As per the player, it should also have a progress bar for players to see how much it’s filled and should “take the entire community weeks of contributing to fill up.”

This Helldivers 2 community pot sounds like a good idea as it can bring players together to contribute towards one thing and the player suggests that filling the pit should have a “substantial” reward. They suggest it could a new gun or a new class of upgrades. Several players think this may be a great addition to the game.
Helldivers Have Plenty Ideas to Make the Game More Chaotic and Exciting
Although the CEO said that it is not a promise that the suggestions could come to the game, a Helldivers 2 patch bringing something like this would be exciting. Another Helldiver echoed a similar idea of donating things for a cause.
They said that doing this could let players gain a temporary buff and for all the players. They suggested, “Think those St. Jude thermometers for donation tracking. Maybe a casual Friday on the Super Destroyer or some other fun thing.”

There’s nothing that better to bring players together than to promise them a buff. There are loads of other ideas that fans have suggested Arrowhead could bring to the game.
These include the ability to upgrade individual equipment like in Helldivers 1 and community-wide and single mission modifiers. One player wants the ability to craft medals while another fan wants arcade machines.
