On social media, Kai Cenat shared a teaser trailer for his upcoming Bloodborne marathon stream, which kicked off on August 2nd and is currently ongoing at the time of writing. The marathon promises to be a gruelling challenge, as he won’t end the stream until he completes the entire game.

But beyond just a gaming session, Kai is aiming to use this event to make a statement. He believes that his playthrough could potentially influence producers or the head of PlayStation, like Hermen Hulst, showing them the strong community demand for a Bloodborne remaster.

This is something that the fans have been asking for several years now, especially after the release of the PS5, but these requests have gone ignored for whatever reason.

Bloodborne is another highly beloved game, and especially after the success of Elden Ring, you’d think PlayStation would fast-track a remaster of the game, especially for its PC release strategy. Alas, that is not the case. FromSoftware has also shown interest in remastering the game recently, but Sony apparently doesn’t like money.

His previous marathon stream for Elden Ring was a huge success, leading to a noticeable increase in players across all platforms. Bandai Namco even recognized Kai’s impact by sending him a life-size statue of the character Malenia as a token of appreciation.

With this track record, it’s not far-fetched to think that his Bloodborne marathon could also draw significant attention and possibly lead to another surge in popularity and players.

Kai’s Growing Influence in Gaming

While it might seem surprising for a streamer to have any sway over the future of a game, Kai’s influence in the gaming community is undeniable. His Elden Ring stream not only entertained tens of thousands of viewers but also boosted the game’s popularity significantly.

His dedication to playing through challenging games, especially given his lack of experience with such difficult games beforehand, definitely makes both him and his streams pretty noteworthy in the gaming world. Kai’s recent, elaborate streams are not just about playing games anymore; they have become immersive experiences that require immense dedication and effort.

For his Bloodborne stream, he completely transformed his room to match the game’s gothic and eerie aesthetic. The room was filled with decorations and items inspired by the game, making it look like a scene straight out of the game. Talk about immersion.

For the marathon, he also donned the protagonist’s default outfit, complete with intricate details. These costumes are not easy to come by and often require custom designs and fittings, not to mention a big budget. Kai invests a lot of time and resources to ensure that all of this is accurate and authentic, and it’s pretty evident from his streams.
