The subject of a ‘perfect ending’ is a debatable topic that varies from person to person, but the baseline is that the series must respect the viewers’ emotions and conclude the show accordingly. Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia is a topic of conversation as the manga is nearing its end.

Though some people are delighted with how the series is ending, others are divided. Despite the series being true to its theme, it has felt somewhat unsatisfying. However, there is one show that everyone in the anime community can agree has the perfect ending that respects the fans’ sentiments by wrapping up the story for good.
This is none other than the dark fantasy anime by Hiromu Arakawa, as her Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood managed to give a good enough ending to both brothers in the series. As a result, fans are taking to social media to praise the series.
Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia Goes Overboard in Showcasing Its Theme
Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia is definitely one of those Shonen series that has made a name for itself and bound its viewers with intrigue as they watched it. The show centers around Izuku Midoriya, a quirkless boy in a world full of superpowers who strives hard no matter what obstacle is placed in front of him.

The series felt like a perfect underdog story; it was more than superheroes saving the day because the villains were so well-written that they felt more like humans than a pure testament to evil. Hence, the story had set huge expectations from the story’s conclusion.
As Horikoshi-San’s MHA progressed, it featured Midoriya gaining All Might’s One For All, which helped him strive closer to his dream, but, at the end of the series, it goes back to the beginning by making our protagonist quirkless again.

Though Deku achieved his dream of becoming the #1 superhero just like his idol, All Might. As a result, it felt somewhat depressing it did not have a bad ending, but it most certainly had an unsatisfying one.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Wrapped Its Story in The Best Possible Way!
Sitting comfortably with a rating of 9.1/10 on IMDb, Hiromu Arakawa’s Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood was a treat to the eyes that narrated the tale of Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric, two brothers who were incredibly gifted in alchemy. However, due to an accident, Alphonse lost his body and bound his soul to the suit of armor.

The two set on a journey to return his body and during their adventure, they faced incredibly powerful antagonists, leading to a high-stakes battle, which featured a satisfying ending for both characters. As the series drew near its end, Alphonse Elric regained his body and went back to his human state.
On the other hand, Edward Elric also received his perfect ending; just like his brother, he lost his leg and sacrificed his arm to bind Alphonse Elric to the armor. However, by the end of the show, Edward had regained his hand and used a prosthetic leg.
The anime concluded with a photo of a married Edward with Winfry Rockbell, his wife, and two children along with some friends and family members. Though they had suffered a loss of alchemy, it reminds its viewers that not everything is perfect, but the ending can still be beautiful.

He not only lost it, he willingly gave it up to bring his brother back to life. That completed his spiritual journey. It was the one thing he was good at.

One of the best resolution/ending in anime history.

Nevertheless, each anime is perfect in its own accord, and though MHA might not have the perfect ending, it definitely had the story that puts it on the list of being one of the best series.
