Harry Potter Franchise Would Think About Casting Tom Hiddleston as Young Professor Snape After This BTS Video From The Avengers

The forever Hollywood heartthrob Tom Hiddleston has embodied innumerable roles throughout his commendably stellar career, spanning heroic, anti-heroic, and villainous roles. But while his performance as Loki in the MCU will arguably eternally rank as his best performance of all time, it seems he could have found a prominent position in the Harry Potter saga as well.

This position would have been that of a young Professor Snape in The Boy Who Lived’s saga. This is because, besides his jaw-dropping acting chops, Hiddleston is also incredibly famous for his impressions of other celebrities and characters, and his behind-the-scenes impersonating clip of the character from The Avengers sets only further proves this fact!

Tom Hiddleston Could be the Perfect Young Professor Snape in Harry Potter

Apart from his absolutely alluring charms and flabbergasting acting chops that can leave anyone in hysterics or tears, Tom Hiddleston is also incredibly good at impersonating other people — be they real-life people or fictional characters. And once, he even tried his hand at giving an impression of Professor Severus Snape from the Harry Potter saga.

This happened years ago, presumably during the time The Avengers was still in the making, considering how the behind-the-scenes clip was from the sets of the film. Stunningly enough, Hiddleston gave one helluva performance as he impeccably channeled his inner Snape voice that sounded like a die-hard copy of Alan Rickman‘s voice for the character.

In an old clip dug up and recently shared by @potterr.memes on Instagram, The Night Manager star, in utmost sincerity and diligence, struck his deepest vocal cords to the point where his voice came out perfectly silkily waspish. That’s not all, for Hiddleston even channeled the perfect Snape-ish reaction on his face while speaking like the character.

Effortlessly enough, this seconds-long clip is more than enough to prove he could be the perfect one to be cast as a younger version of the fan-favorite Hogwarts professor. That said, since there’s already a reboot series of the saga in the making, the Crimson Peak star could be the ultimate casting choice to fill in the shoes and carry on the legacy of the late Rickman.

And, unsurprisingly enough, fans feel the same way.

Ever since fans have seen the goofy Hiddleston get in character for Snape (even if it was for a few seconds), they can’t help but express just how perfect he would look in the respective role. If anything, the actor might as well bring in a perfectly diverse character beyond everyone’s wildest imagination, if cast in the role.
