Set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, this game offers a unique opportunity to explore familiar and new characters from the Star Wars canon. While we have already seen some official character appearances in the trailers. Here are five legacy characters we believe should make an appearance in the upcoming game.

5. Migs Mayfeld

Migs Mayfeld, introduced in The Mandalorian, is an ex-Imperial sharpshooter turned mercenary.

His morally ambiguous nature and complex backstory make him an intriguing character to encounter in Star Wars Outlaws. Set during a time when Mayfeld is still navigating his post-Imperial life, he could appear as either a potential friend or foe.

4. Cad Bane

Cad Bane, the notorious Duros bounty hunter, is a character fans have long wanted to see in more media. His ruthless demeanor and exceptional combat skills would make him a perfect boss or antagonist of some kind.

Given the game’s focus on the criminal underworld, Bane’s involvement would be fitting. In the game, Bane could serve as an elite boss or a complex character who players might occasionally ally with, depending on their choices.

3. Peli Motto

Peli Motto, the lovable mechanic from The Mandalorian, would be an ideal addition to Outlaws. Operating out of Hangar 3-5 in Mos Eisley, Peli and her droids could offer repair services and ship upgrades essential for Kay Vess’s interstellar adventures.

Peli’s quirky personality and interactions with her droids would bring a touch of humor and charm, making routine visits to her garage a delightful experience.

2. Maz Kanata

Maz Kanata, the ancient and wise pirate queen first seen in The Force Awakens, would be a fitting addition to Outlaws. Her castle on Takodana serves as a haven for smugglers and outlaws, making it an ideal hub for Kay Vess to frequent.

Maz’s deep knowledge of the Force and her extensive network in the criminal world could provide Kay with valuable resources and information.

1. Boba Fett

Boba Fett, the galaxy’s most infamous bounty hunter, is a natural fit for Outlaws. With his deep ties to the criminal world and a penchant for high-stakes jobs, his presence would not only add depth to the game’s storyline but also align perfectly with its outlaw theme.

As seen in the game’s trailers, Fett’s association with Jabba the Hutt makes him a likely candidate to cross paths with Kay Vess.

Star Wars Outlaws has the potential to follow the steps of Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor’s success. Fans have already experienced the Star Wars universe in modern titles with new-gen graphics. But an open-world title like Outlaws has the chance to take it to the next level.

Fans have been very skeptical ahead of the game’s release due to it being a Ubisoft game. The studio hasn’t had a good standing with fans in recent times with its releases. But Outlaws has the chance for the studio to turn the favor of fans. Although, the move to lock a quest behind preorders isn’t quite how to go about it.

But that aside, the game does have potential. And fans of the Star Wars franchise will most likely still flock to experience a new adventure set in the beloved universe. Seeing some familiar faces would definitely add to the hype and fun.
