Blake Lively is all set to be back on the big screen with an anticipated project, It Ends with Us, which is based on Colleen Hoover’s novel of the same name. If one is a fan of the novel, they must already have high hopes for the film, with many excited for Brandon Sklenar’s performance as the leading character of Atlas Corrigan.
In the novel, he is a kind, protective, and trustworthy character, who instantly makes anyone fall for him. Sklenar has seemingly done a commendable job in bringing the character to life, which can be seen in the trailer.
But, his great chemistry with the former, hilariously ended up garnering her husband, Ryan Reynolds’s attention. In a hilarious turn of events, his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star, Hugh Jackman joined the actor in torturing Sklenar.

When it comes to marketing, Ryan Reynolds has showcased his talent numerous times. Be it promoting his Deadpool movies or engaging with audiences for fun, he continued to showcase genius marketing tactics that surely win our hearts.
Just like that, he’s back once again to promote his wife Blake Lively‘s new project, It Ends With Us, in a quirky way. Starring opposite Lively is Brandon Sklenar, who plays Atlas Corrigan in the upcoming film.
Given that the actors’ chemistry is gaining attention online, Reynolds took a step forward to interrogate his wife’s on-screen love interest. In his mission to seemingly make Sklenar uncomfortable, he teamed up with his best friend and Deadpool & Wolverine co-star, Hugh Jackman.
As the interview started, the Merc with the Mouth actor questioned Sklenar about a suggestive photo with his wife. It ended up taking an unexpected turn when Reynolds, with his trademark sarcasm, started to praise the 34-year-old actor for his physique.
He asked,
Is that genetics? Do you have some sort of, like, low-angle squat routine to pop that region in that way? I mean, what’s going on here, man? Are you smuggling pumpkins? Got a couple of small pumpkins there? Jesus Christ, my heart is beating like crazy right now.
From that point on, it’s clear that the actor has fallen head over heels for his wife’s on-screen love interest. But his interrogation didn’t just end at that, as the Logan actor joined his buddy as well.

Just when it seemed like things couldn’t get any more awkward for the It Ends With Us actor, the Wolverine actor showed up. Known for his witty humor, he seamlessly joined Reynolds on his mission, stating right away about his work.
In a serious tone, he asked the Midway actor,
It’s not every day a guy gets to interview the love interest of his best friend’s wife, and the guy trying to replace Ryan as a husband. And me as his best mate.
While The Fall Guy star purely made it hilarious, the X-Men actor’s involvement elevated the comic tension to the next level. He was enough to intimidate the former as he asked,
So listen, I’ve just got one question. What the hell are you doing messing with my best buddy’s wife?
In his defense, the Vice actor called himself a huge fan of Jackman. The video ended with the buddies and Reynolds’ mother praising the interviewee for his charming looks and demeanor, which instantly stole their hearts.
Colleen Hoover‘s novel adaptation follows a dual timeline centering around Lily Bloom. While the past timeline follows a young Lily who had a tragic childhood, leaving her to find solace in Atlas Corrigan, the present timeline follows an adult Lily whose path crosses with Atlas once again, in an unexpected situation.
It Ends With Us will be released this Friday.
