Olympics sprinter Ewa Swoboda agrees to take on the speed challenge by YouTube sensation IShowSpeed after the latter declared that nobody in the world can beat him. Swoboda is a three-time European Championship medalist who competed in the Paris 2024 Olympics, finishing in fourth place.
Meanwhile, IShowSpeed is a famous YouTuber known for his ridiculous stunts and erratic behavior. Right now, his channel has been banned after he live-streamed himself jumping over two sports cars that were speeding towards him.
YouTuber IShowSpeed Dares Olympic Star Ewa Swoboda For A Race
American YouTuber Darren Watkins Jr., popularly known as IShowSpeed, previously told his fans in a live stream that he could certainly beat Polish athlete Ewa Swoboda in a race.
He joked about getting her number, and he asserted that nobody in the world, not even an Olympic athlete, could beat him. “I’m being dead-a**. At no point in life have I ever lost a race. That’s why people call me Speed,” the Internet star claimed (via Daily Mail).
When Swoboda learned about the challenge, she immediately welcomed it and said that if IShowSpeed visits Poland, she would be up for a race. “I called my mum and dad to brag that I just got a new tattoo. I got the Olympic rings and they told me, ‘Oh my god Ewa, did you see that some Youtuber just challenged you?’” she stated.
“Well, if he comes to Poland and he competes in the RMF FM radio contest maybe I’ll run with him,” the Polish sprinter asserted. However, since IShowSpeed has already been to Poland, Swoboda thinks the chances of meeting him are quite slim.

It’s not certain if he’s really serious about challenging a professional athlete, but it would certainly make great YouTube content no matter the result of their race.
IShowSpeed Gets Temporary Ban From YouTube
After the dangerous stunt he performed on YouTube, IShowSpeed has been banned from posting on the platform. He said following the restriction (via Daily Mail):
Hey guys, if y’all are watching this right now, I’m banned on YouTube on my main channel. I cannot stream or do anything, guys. I just wanted to let y’all know. I love y’all.
His channel and old videos are still up, but it seems like he’s prohibited from posting new ones until the ban is lifted. Fans will have to wait for updates on whether or not his challenge with Ewa Swoboda pushes through.
