Several players on PS5 and Xbox Series are jumping on to try the game. However, Valorant console launch seems to be too much for some as they are unable to keep up with the pace of the game and feel out of place.

While some may be having fun, there are also many who are struggling to adapt. One player who recently started playing the game on console said that they feel too old to play the game, calling it “one of the hardest games” they’ve ever played.

The player added that they have easily done good in Call of Duty, Overwatch, and Halo but this is different. However, they think they “don’t belong at all” and called the game “a literal hell.”

Valorant is a fast-paced game and even one minute mistake or losing focus for even a second could get them killed and/or be the deciding factor if they win or lose a match. This is what seems to have happened with the OP. But it isn’t stopping them as they added that they’ll queue again in the next hour.

Although the player made an edit later, saying that they do not resonate with what they said anymore and it was a “moment of weakness,” it is possible that they could have been overwhelmed and weren’t able to understand how things work in the game, which is normal for any new player in any game.

But what’s more surprising is that the game community that is said to be the most toxic in all shooter titles came in support of the player. Fans said that OP should first learn the map that will help them know where they shoot and they’ll soon get better.

One player said, “This game is just very punishing and especially as a beginner, it’s hard to understand what you did wrong,” adding that they only need to get “a hang of the mechanics” and then it’s a “straightforward game.”

Fans added that the player should watch tips and tricks videos and offers advice like not to walk and shoot at the same time. Some also said that age has nothing to do with the game and they only need to get a better understanding of the things before they can rake in kills.
