Further, in an interview (via Entertainment Weekly) when asked if she would take on a similar role again or participate in a sequel to Mother! The actress firmly denied it and added:

No. I don’t regret it. I’m happy I did it. If I had to do it again? If there was a mother! sequel? [Laughs] No. I wouldn’t be able to do it again. I did it once and I gave it my all.

Interestingly, to prepare for a particularly intense scene in Mother! Jennifer Lawrence listened to Beyoncé’s Lemonade album.
